Truck Enforcement

The Truck Enforcement Division has many programs to enhance commercial motor vehicle safety:
  • Size and Weight Enforcement
  • Permitting and the E-permits system

The Truck Enforcement Sergeant oversees day-to-day activities of the truck enforcement division.

Division goals include:
  • Reducing commercial vehicle crashes by conducting commercial vehicle inspections, safety audits, compliance reviews, and verifying the permit system.
  • Protecting county infrastructure through size and weight enforcement and permitting overweight/over-dimensional load movements.
For more information on McKenzie County roads, permits, weight limits, etc., see the McKenzie County Road and Engineers Department.
