On 07/20/2017 at approximately 7:30 PM McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office investigators responded to the area of 42ND ST NW and 148th T Ave NW in response to information that was received during the investigation into the drive by shooting that occurred in Williston on the morning of July 18, 2017 by investigators in Williston.

Thomas Gene Edwards has recently plead guilty

Thomas Gene Edwards, 55, has recently plead guilty to conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with intent to distribute. This case stems from a joint investigative effort by the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office, Northwest Narcotics Task Force and the FBI Task Force out of Sidney Montana.

May 8th Drowning in Stock Pond

On 05/07/2017 at approximately 5:16 PM the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office, McKenzie County Rural Fire Department, McKenzie County Ambulance Service, and Valley Med Flight responded to a report of an 18 year old male who was drowning at a stock pond located near 126th Ave NW and 37th ST NW.
